Radar seviye ölçüm teknolojisi, temassýz seviye teknolojileri içerisinde yaygýnlaþmaya devam ederken radar seviyeyi oluþturan anten teknolojisi de hergün yenilenerek geliþmektedir. Bu tip ölçüm teknolojisi kullanýlýrken uygun anten özelliklerini belirleyebilmek için; ölçülecek katý, sývý veya gaz malzemenin dielektrik sabiti bilgisine ihtiyaç duyarýz.
Bu yazýmýzda, USKON olarak çeþitli firmalardan, sahadan ve arþivlerden edindiðimiz bir çok malzemenin dielektrik sabiti bilgisine ulaþabileceksiniz. Birçok malzemenin deðerlerinin doðruluðunu, çok deðiþken koþullar gözardý edilemeyeceði için garanti edemesekte, birçoðu baþvuru niteliðindedir. Riskli veya yüksek güvenirlilik hassasiyeti gerekli olduðunda, ilgili malzeme için standartlara uygun olarak sertifikalý laboratuarlarda test ve ölçüm yapýlmalýdýr. Dielektrik katsayýsý/sabiti (Dc) her olasý çalýþma þartý altýnda ölçülebilir ve ancak böylelikle gerçek sonuçlar öngörebilir olur.
Uyarýlar:
• Sadece isim beznerliði veya anlamdaþ diye, bilinmeyen bir dielektrik sabiti için o deðeri esas almayýnýz.
• “Tanecikli Katý” veya “Toz Halindeki Katý” malzemelerin herzaman ayný büyüklüklerde olmayacaðýný unutmayýnýz. Bunlar, uygulamacýlarýn o anki koþullar altýndaki malzemeleri isimlendirmeleriyle yaptýklarý genellemelerdir.

Seviye Ölçümünde Dielektrik Sabiti (Dc) Kullanýmý
Sývýlarýn Seviyelerinin Ölçümü:
Bir malzemenin Dc si temel olarak, boþluða göre oranlanýr. Bu gerekli radyo frekans enerji miktarýný da bir oran cinsinden ortaya çýkarýr. Örnek vermek gerekirse; saf su (Dc=80.0) 80 sefer kadar geçer. Bir baþka örnekte, yakýt (Dc=2.1) dir, yani 2,1 kadar geçer.
Bir sývý/sývý ölçümü; malzemelerden biri iletken (örneðin; içme suyu, asit, kostik vb.) ve diðeri de iletken-deðil ise (örneðin; motor yaðý, gres, anilin vb.) daha güvenilir ölçülür. Ýyi bir hassasiyet için, her malzemenin iletkenlik sabitini korumalýdýr.
Katý Seviyelerinin Ölçümü:
Katýlardaki Dc de ayný sývýlardaki gibi tanýmlanmýþtýr. Fakat, katýlarda toz veya granil halde bulunduklarýndan partiküller arasý boþluklarý dolduran gaz mevcuttur.(Dc gaz = 1,0)
Gerçek Dc = (Katýnýn Dc’ si – 1,0)(Genel Yoðunluk / Katýnýn Yoðunluðu) + 1,0 olarak hesaplanýr.
